I’ve always dreamed of building my own business. After years in the jewelry industry, where I honed my eye for aesthetics and quality—every detail, from a diamond’s brilliance to the harmony of design, mattered—I knew it was time to test my idea.

Transitioning from crafting hard, sparkling diamonds to designing soft, functional backpacks may seem like a leap. But I’ve discovered the same principles apply: both demand attention to aesthetics, quality, and excellence. This foundation has helped me shape Maze Fathom into a brand that creates backpacks not only for function but for inspiration—durable, beautifully crafted pieces meant to endure and support life’s adventures.

Every great creation begins with a simple idea—and a lot of experimenting. For the first Maze Fathom backpack, I started small, developing the prototype by hand.

It began with a life-sized paper sample, allowing me to visualize the design, test dimensions, and refine every detail. It wasn’t perfect, but it was tangible proof of progress. That prototype reminded me that progress starts small, evolves through adjustments, and thrives when you stay focused on the bigger picture.

I dream of turning this prototype into a product people will recognize, love, and carry in their everyday lives. But it’s more than just a backpack—I envision a community built around Maze Fathom, where we inspire and support one another on our journeys.
